Bootsie's Buttercup Biscuits started the way the best things do — with someone who refused to accept that "good enough" was acceptable. In a small Leedey kitchen, real butter replaced the shortening, the flour was measured by feel not by the box, and the oven became the heartbeat of the house.

Thirty years later, we're still doing the same thing. Every morning, our team arrives before sunrise to mix, fold, cut, and bake. We source locally whenever we can, and we throw out anything that doesn't meet the standard we set for ourselves. That standard is simple: if it wouldn't make sense to serve it to your family, it doesn't make sense to sell it to you.
